  • OK been to Ruth’s now, great bar, amazing seating, vibes immaculate, happy hour got me $5 modelos which felt very fair given the quality of the space.

    Ruth is dedicated to a man I consider a friend, I asked if he knew any good bars in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. He told me that there was/is a whole bar scene in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, I haven’t been, I can’t say. but I trust this man so it’s on the site.

    At first glance the happy hour is mid, drink options are expensive but the $1 chips are enticing, I think I’ll get a daiquiri if I go here, getting tropical and horizontal soon.

    Anyway.

    My Brother sans Christ says to me that he had a wonderful experience at this bar, the bartenders are cool, the patrons were friendly, talkative, welcoming. So I guess come here if you want to talk to someone new?

    Poor website UX.

    I know what you’re gonna say, you’re gonna say my website UX is bad. You’re right. for now…but there’s an elegance to what I’m doing. Just trust me, I have a good intuition for these kinds of things.

Fiona’s

  • In my research of good bars in Prospect Lefferts Gardens Fiona’s bar got multiple mentions, so even though it doesn’t technically have a published happy hour I am still adding it to the list out of respect for the collective opinion

    The signature cocktail stuck out to me as a pint+ sized triumph of tropical vibes, will review when I get one!

    Can confirm it’s a good drink and its BIG, probably 3x a normal cocktail, pretty strong, and sweet - definitely drop by if that sounds good.

    There’s also a parrot fish (NOT a gold fish) called Javi in the back, he’s cool.

    Big space, authentic pretzels, seems lovely - apparently there’s a happy hour but I couldn’t find anything about it, reaching out to them to see what I find! In the meantime enjoy this picture from their instagram

The Westbury Inn

  • Great local bar according to my girlfriend, no frills but cheap beer and good vibes plus event nights and $1 wings during happy hour and all day Wednesday (image from August 2023 so who knows)

The Roger’s Garden

  • Apparently everyone loves Roger’s Garden! They have beautiful cocktails, music nights, and incredible artwork throughout. Definitely Huge Little Caribbean vibes but close enough to PLG for me to add it here!

    I couldn’t find any good pictures of either their menu or happy hour offerings, but will update when I stop by!
